Transparency from the start!

What to expect here
Here you'll learn how a project works with me, which service packages there are and what the costs are based on. So you know what to expect – before we begin.
I can only provide a binding quote after a joint consultation. Then we know exactly what the scope of work will be.

Two types of cost: one-time creation & ongoing maintenance
Every project involves two types of cost. I name both clearly and separately from the start, so you can realistically budget for both the build and the operation.
One-time creation
The one-time investment for the concept, design and implementation of your project – as a transparent fixed-price quote. The amount depends on scope, features, content and the chosen platform, and is set before we start.
Ongoing maintenance & upkeep
The recurring effort for operation: hosting, domain, updates, security and content upkeep. I name these running costs clearly in advance – on request I handle the maintenance, or you can do it yourself.
This way you know early on that a one-time creation is followed by ongoing operation – both named transparently, with no hidden costs.
What does all this cost?
The one-time creation depends on the scope: number of pages, features, amount of content, multilingualism and the chosen platform. A compact website is already possible at a manageable fixed price, while an extensive online shop is correspondingly higher.
As a rule: you receive a clear fixed-price quote instead of open-ended hourly billing. The ongoing costs for maintenance and upkeep such as hosting, updates or extensions are stated just as transparently so you can plan with confidence.
The guide “What does a website cost?” provides a detailed breakdown of the pricing factors.
Frequently asked questions about process & pricing
Do you work with fixed prices?+
Yes. After the first conversation you receive a transparent fixed-price quote for the one-time creation – so you know from the start what the project costs. For larger projects it is often practical to structure the work in phases: Concept & Goals, Design & Dummies, and Implementation & Realisation. Each phase is commissioned and invoiced separately – giving you full planning certainty and cost control.
What running costs should I expect after the creation?+
In addition to the one-time creation, there are ongoing costs for operation: hosting and domain, and – depending on your wishes – maintenance, updates and content upkeep. I name these clearly in advance so there are no surprises.
How quickly can we start?+
Usually shortly after the project is approved. We agree on the exact timeframe together in the first conversation.
